悪AI意The Sounds of Hearts

It makes sense that this is a tale of two sides, since this is a compilation of two of AI’s 7” records. Side A is Arming Rebellion With The Sounds Of Hearts from 1998, and Side B is A Hope On The Concrete from 2000. The first side is a rocking whirlwind of motör-tinged punk with some ripping solos and desperate vocals, a breakneck pace that will have you nodding along in no time. Side B is a bit more of a letdown compared to the first side - the production is worse, the songs are a bit lackluster. Manhunt is okay but I much prefer Side A, with the closer No Surrender being the best song on the record.

Like most things Yannick released on Feral Ward, this is a high quality record with a nice thick cardstock sleeve. My copy is on white (100).
