Some recent-ish pick ups before I move on to the C EP’s, starting with new shit from Avskum, just in time for their first US tour in ages, scheduled for the fall of this year. You get what you’d might expect from Avskum, which is classic driving and uncompromised d-beat. Nothing groundbreaking and I still think Punkista is their best full length record, but it’s cool to see them continue do their thing since 1982 (!!). Some guest vocals on a few songs are from Disfear / Skitsystem / At The Gates vocalist Tomas Lindberg, whose voice seems to be catching up to his age, but the raspiness suits him and the tunes.
