This is probably one of the best hardcore records of all time - completely untouchable from start to end. Take one part Motörhead, one part Discharge, put your blender on Crust mode and speed it up and you get this record. This 12” is unforgiving and pulls zero punches - killer from start to finish. Someone on the internet once called this the “Japanese Age Of Quarrel” but maybe Age Of Quarrel is the American Wind of Pain. Think about it. The song arrangement is just perfect too - I can’t think of a better opener than Misery or closer than Truth.
I feel fortunate to have to seen them in Austin in 2010 - despite the bassist’s rumored “health issues” - where they brought the house down. Fucking bastard!
This is the original pressing on Bloodsucker Records. Feral Ward reissued this in 2013, with a new layout and photos from the aforementioned Chaos in Tejas show.
Favorite Track: hard to pick just one, but To The Stumped Underdogs.
