Maine hardcore! I think I got this record more because of its connection to my home state than my affinity for the tunes. It’s pure crossover, heavy thrashing riffs and chugs, heavily influenced by Madball and Ride The Lightning, and I also hear a lot of No Warning in this record. While some of the songs start to blend together for me, there are some head bangers on this album and second side is pretty great. Dismissed is straight up Demonstrating My Style era Madball musically. I also give them credit for having a song named after their band name. Only thing better than that is when it happens on S/T albums (See: Black Sabbath, Motörhead, Iron Maiden, God’s Hate).
