One of the many of represses of Rhode Island’s finest first full LP; I think this repress is from 2002. My blue copy has just one smoky streak of black which looks pretty sweet. Thrashy, fast & frantic, Dropdead delivers the goods with the pedal to the floor, influenced by the likes of S.O.B., Lärm, Confuse, Infest, etc. A blur of pounding noise, one song bleeds into another until suddenly, the side is over and you’re left wondering which track was which - after all, this record has 34 songs on it. Maybe the most surprising thing about this record is that it plays at 33 RPM - you can always make it faster by flipping that switch on your turntable!
