I always called this record “Criminal Trap” for some reason, but it’s S/T. The “real punks” probably hate this record since it marks Anti Cimex’s turn towards a more metallic sound, but fuck ‘em, this record rules and so do the LPs that followed. Funny how when Discharge went metal in the same year, the world got Grave New World, but when Anti Cimex went metal, we got this thrasher. Also funny that the liner notes say that the lyrics for “make my day” were based off one of the band member’s Clint Eastwood t-shirt. Pain Killer on Side B is a bit of a rocker, that sounds a bit like Poison Idea - who also have a song called Painkiller. The record closes out with a re-recording of Set Me Free from Victims of a Bomb Raid.
