The early Bane stuff is good in that 90’s hardcore way; while I pretty much stopped keeping up with the band in the mid 2000s, I saw them lots of times in that era. These songs have a certain amount of nostalgia attached to them, and we all know that nostalgia is a +10 quality buff. I think the last time I saw Bane was in like 2006 in LA with @frankantonoff - who knows who else played.
This is their second 7” and includes the anti-smoking anthem Superhero; I first heard this and the Forked Tongue 7” on the compilation CD that also included the Holding This Moment EP put out by EVR. This one is a repress, on green # / 100 . I heard they are reuniting, maybe I should cash in.
