First EP by Born/Dead, and its rawer, faster, and better - whereas the LP and subsequent EPs just feel like they’re lacking some urgency, this record manages to capture that energy. No One Gets Out is a ripper, and side 2’s Deadtime is also great. When a band isn’t necessarily breaking the mold, they have to at least show up with a ton of gusto, and Born/Dead managed to do so here.
