BoulderReaped In Half: Act I And II

All right, the last entry in the Boulder trifecta. While this record has better production quality than the previous two albums, the vocals are really bad on it - Jamie is really trying to semi-clean sing on this one and he…can’t really sing? Musically record is less sludgy, and has more like a “feel-good party-Dad bar band” vibe to it. The guitar riffing is abundant and tight - I actually might listen to this record more if it weren’t for the vocals, but they are just that bad. So are the lyrics - holy shit are they bad. What would you expect from the guys who were formally in a band called Steaming Feces?

So this one gets a net-neutral for the artwork - it’s not great, but it’s not nearly as abysmal as the previous two records. The lyrics are about as dumb and sophomoric as the previous, and the vocals are really bad to boot but the tunes are rockin’ - makes you wanna get drunk off bud light on a Tuesday night!
