Boot stompin' street punk, complete with gang chorus vocals - but Camera Silens aren’t afraid to mix it up with a bit of acoustic guitar on the opening track intro, and there’s an odd sax solo here and there. Meanwhile, “Pour La Gloire” sounds straight up like a(n awesome) football chant. The song Camera Silens has a creeping, dark, throbbing build up filled with tension until it doubles in speed at the end - it’s just excellent.

I don’t know much about this band, so I read more online - the singer, Gilles Bertin, lead quite the life apparently (passed in 2019). Notably, he was part of an armed robbery of a brinks truck and made off with millions and lived on the lam for several years.
