A stone cold hardcore classic, and it’s over before you know it. When Keith Morris left Black Flag after 2 years, he formed the Circle Jerks with Redd Kross guitarist Greg Hetson. This first record included some ganked songs from Morris’ Black Flag days, which resulted in the You’ve Bet We’ve Got Something Personal Against You! diss track on Jealous Again and a rivalry between the band’s fans. Drama aside, we were rewarded with some 15 minutes of 14 ragers. If we are picking sides, I like Black Flag more, but this is a must have for any punk fan and essential LA hardcore.
This was the second release on Frontier Records, but mine is a later pressing with a BMG bar code and a missing insert.
