House With A Curse

This album is a departure for Coliseum - less raw and urgent, and frankly, starts to drag towards the end since the songs are longer in duration, and slower in pace The production is quite clean, and the bass is missing its distorted rumble from No Salvation. Overall songs are post-punk, but there’s a monotony here that weighs the album down like lead. Lost in Groningen is a bit of a standout, but the rest of the tracks sort of mold into one plodding beast. Probably my least favorite Coliseum album.

Cover art is some spooky occult looking theme with an embossed treatment on the record sleeve.
