As one might guess by the title of the record, this is more an avant garde mind fuck than music. Starts out with some 1930’s military march, and then turns noisy, freaky, and immediately disconcerting. It’s mostly experimental - more or less structureless sounds and vocals that Yoko Ono could only dream of, only to left turn into a legitimate song. The intersection of The Crow + Grave New World + Apocalypse, and in that similar vein, yet even further afield into the psychedelic realm, with plenty of long running, noodling of guitar work. All that aside, this record shares the same message as much Crow’s other work: anti-nuclear war.
There are four tracks - two per side - and it’s hard to tell where one starts and one ends, but it probably doesn’t matter since this record, if it can be enjoyed in the traditional sense, is probably best done so under the influence of many things.
