Portland punks tend to keep it political and unapologetically so, and Cliterati is no exception, tackling topics like gender issues, political divide, immigration and general right wing douchery head on, along with some more personal songs. Thrashing, heavy, and a bit more metallic than you might expect, with some grindy / blast beat sections - I like the music but the vocals are not for me. In Crust We Trust contains a line that seemed inspired by a sign outside our local pizza joint, @redsaucepizza “Pizza Rolls, not Gender Roles.” Epic cover by Sugi (@sugi.hardcoredrawings)!
