Recorded in 2008 and released posthumously, Clouds plays that sludgy / stoner rock / psychedelic influenced wall of sound, not unlike QOTSA, Torche, Mastodon, etc that seemed to be in vogue at the time. The second side opener, “Summer of ’77” sounds like it could be a Hot Snakes outtake to me; good stuff.
No idea what this album title means, probably some inside joke (what am I missing, @jimcarroll ?) This is a “limited” Record Store Day pressing of 200 and has just 4 tracks. On THICK vinyl @ 45RPM and it sounds excellent.
