This stuff is so good - “Nightmare Or Reality” comes out of the gate with a relentless beat and hits ya like a ton of bricks - sounds a bit heavier / downtuned and the guitars start to have a Boss HM-2 tone to me, if you can cut through the noise. Some of these songs appear on earlier or later releases, pretty much a theme throughout Disclose’s career.
For a band that released a so much material that all more or less sounds like same thing on its face, one has to be a bit of a pedantic nerd to find the differences beyond the surface, but that’s part of the fun. I don’t love all of Disclose’s stuff, but this is a good one.
