These Crow tracks appeared on the “Vertigo” lathe cut release and thankfully sound good here! The Crow side opens up with one of this iteration of Crow’s best songs - the intense and punishing Traitors. Side A continues with Annihilation, slightly more subdued affair that builds into a thrashing . These songs are best listened to back to back but Traitors is the better song. Both songs are dark, brooding even. The flip has two by Czech punkers See You In Hell. I saw these guys once at a house show in Chicago - they play a slightly melodic, burning spirits influenced “inspirational” hardcore here, complete with gang vocals. Not bad, but I think Selfish did it better.
I’ve got a normal version and a red version with a silkscreened cover. I think the packaging / artwork on this is great.
