Continuing in their tradition of issuing untouchable EPs, Crow follows up Bloody Tear some something a bit different, but not that different.
Side A is consists of the long sludgy, doomy crusty title track. It’s an epic eight minute song, and it’s got all the hallmarks of a Crow song including the desperate vocals and heavy riffage, just for a longer duration than usual.
Side AA has four songs and flips the script, where all the songs are whirlwind and blend into each other, picking up a much faster beat. There’s some burning-spirits esque chanting on “祈呪 (Inori Noroi - “cursed prayers”) including a re-recording of Last Chaos. It’s almost like this entire EP is two songs; the first side, a long doomy dirge, and the second, four ragers back-to-back-to-back-to-back. Awesome.
The collage cover work is striking. I have four versions: first Japanese press on Red (400); first Japanese press on black / red (200); Prank picture disc (800); Prank picture disc with Chaos in Tejas cover (100). Who else was at that Beer Land show?!
